1. Nationality
- Must be a citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01.01.1962 with intent to settle permanently, or
- A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries, or Vietnam with intent to settle in India.
Note: Candidates belonging to categories (ii), (iii), or (iv) must produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
