This Account Deletion Policy ("Policy") outlines the process and implications of deleting a user account on GetVidya's platform, including our web application and mobile applications for iOS and Android. GetVidya, operated by Prepdot Solutions Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"), is committed to protecting user privacy and providing clear information about data management practices.

Account Deletion Process

Users who wish to delete their GetVidya account can do so by following these steps:

1. Log in to your GetVidya account using your registered phone number on either mobile application or web application.
2. Navigate to the Profile setting section by clicking on the user icon in the top-right corner.
3. Select User Settings.
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the "User Settings" page.
5. Locate the red-colored link labeled "Delete Account".
6. Click on the "Delete Account" link.
7. A confirmation prompt will appear. Please enter the text displayed on the screen to confirm your decision.
8. Upon confirmation, your account will be deleted, and you will be automatically logged out of the application.

Data Deletion and Retention

1. Data Deletion: Upon account deletion, we commit to removing all user-related information from our servers, including but not limited to:
   1. Name
   2. Phone number
   3. Exam preferences
   4. Past exam scores
   5. Past exam accuracy
   6. Any other personal details or generated content associated to your account
2. Timeframe: All user data will be deleted from our servers within 30 minutes of the account deletion request being confirmed.
3. Irreversibility: The account deletion process is irreversible. Once an account is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
4. New Account Creation: If a user wishes to use GetVidya services after deleting their account, they will need to create a new account. The previous account and its associated data cannot be restored.

Legal Compliance and Data Retention

1. While we delete user data as described above, we may retain certain information if required by law, for legitimate business purposes, or to protect our legal rights. This retention will be in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
2. Any retained data will be maintained in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

Third-Party Data

We will make reasonable efforts to delete user data shared with third-party service providers. However, users should be aware that cached or backed-up versions of their information may exist on these third-party systems for a limited time.

2. Users should cancel any active subscriptions or recurring payments associated with their GetVidya account before deletion to prevent further charges.
